#1 Slingshot

- Start by notching each prong of the fork with a knife. Your notches should be deep enough to keep the elastic bands in place but not so profound that the prong breaks when you apply force for pulling.
- Wrap one side end of the tubing to both ends of the prong. Use a zip tie or wire to secure the tubing.
- Start cutting a 2 inch by 4-inch leather piece and poke two holes, one at each end.
- Gently try putting the rubber tubing loose ends through the leather holes and tie them. You will need to adjust the tubing length according to your arm length and the power you want.
#2 Bo Shuriken

- Grab your rafter nail and cut the top head off with a bolt cutter.

- Empty your fire extinguisher and open the container to wash out all the residue. Tightly attach the cap and mark a circle on the metal-can opposite the thrower nozzle.
- Drill the marked circle and loop the Schrader valve to create a tight sealed connection. The attached valve will be our spot to add air pressure inside the can.
- You need to attach the brass hose adapter to the nozzle to shoot the flame high. You can make threads in the extinguisher pipe. Put some thread tape on the brass fitting to secure it tightly.
- Take your copper tubing and flatten one end, so the hose clamp firmly secures the pipe in place. The other tube ending should be precisely perpendicular and an inch below the shooting nozzle. The basic concept is to pass the lighter fluid through the fire to create a flame that shoots far.
- Fill the can with lighter fluid and add air pressure over 80 PSI, so it shoots far. Dip the wick into the lighter fluid and attach it to the brass metal open side. You can now shoot fire just by pressing the lever.

#4 Spiked Club

- Take a wood that doesn’t splinter when you hammer the nails inside. Grind it to remove the upper layer. Start marking dots leaving half-inch gaps between both the markings. You can randomly place the dots or go in straight lines till you cover the bat’s whole circumference.
- Drill the marked holes and add gorilla glue into the holes. Adding glue will make the nails stick firmly into the bat.
- Take a nail and insert it in one hole; use a hammer to apply pressure so that the entire nail comes through the other hole. Repeat the process to cover all the holes.
- Spray-paint the weapon and add a varnish to increase your weapon’s life. Use a paracord and weave an excellent grip on your club for easy handling. Your spiked club is ready to protect you.
#5 Pepper Spray
This spray will make an attacker cry violently as the sting will be unbearable to them. The spray concoction is very effective and easy to make. Let us look at the ingredients:

- 92% alcohol

- Spray bottle

- Take a bowl and add pepper powder, garlic paste, lemon juice, vegetable oil and mix it well with few alcohol caps. Mix the liquid and use a blender to blend it perfectly.
- Let the mixture sit overnight. Take a coffee filter or cheesecloth to filter out the liquid. This step is necessary to avoid clogging.
- Fill the liquid in a spray bottle. You can add more alcohol if the mixture is too concentrated.
Since this spray isn’t pressurized, it will cover a smaller distance. Make sure to be familiar with your spray’s distance before using it on the attacker.
#6 Dart Blow-Gun
Dart blow-guns can harm your attacker from a long-distance giving you ample time to run away at a safe spot. You can make it with a bamboo stick if you are in the wilderness or use a PVC pipe if you are at home.

- Pipe- bamboo or PVC tube
- Fishing line
- Cotton
- Pins or sticks
- Sandpaper or pine cone
- Lipbalm
Directions
- Take a decent-sized bamboo stick hollow from the inside, but you need to remove the connecting spots to make it completely hollow. Start splitting the wood in half and carve out the tiny wood fibers that block the joints.
- Smooth the inside by using some sand and pine cone. This tool will act as makeshift sandpaper for smoothing the inside.
- Apply lip balm on the edges to seal the edges and use a fishing line to tie the bamboo securely.
- If you have a PVC pipe, skip all the steps mentioned above. Your tube is ready for the next step.
- Make darts by attaching a spikey wood piece to a cotton ball. You can sharpen your darts with a knife. Try using thin nails if they are available near you.
- You can now blow the darts through the pipe and save yourself during emergencies.

- Use your laptop cord or charging wire as a strangling weapon. These wires will work effectively after applying enough pressure.
- Grab a kitchen meat cutting knife to frighten the attacker. Ensure the blade isn’t blunt if you had to attack the person.
- Hairspray, oven cleaner, or glass spray will blind the attacker temporarily. These will be ineffective if you use them on any other body part, always try to aim at their eyes.
